2013 COVI MOTORHOME & CARAVAN SHOW AT AUCKLAND SHOW GROUNDS 19.09-22.09.13

What a great few days with seven different motorhomes to display, including the Dakota, TK FB and the Delaware.  Lots of people stopped in to have a look and compare.  Overall favourites were the Delaware, having the island bed, with the Dakota a close second having the best bathroom at the show.  A fun and successful show all around.

Auto-Trail NZ Owners' Club

In February this year, 2013, new Auto-Trail owners Linda and Denis McKenzie, thought it would be a great idea to get together with other Auto-Trail owners and maybe form a club.  They sought our help, being the only licensed Auto-Trail importer in NZ.  After emails and meetings a date and location was settled and through our newsletter owners were informed and invited to attend.

On Saturday 30th November sixteen Auto-Trail motorhomes pulled into the Papakura Cosmopolitan Club carpark.  Everyone arrived to participate in the first get together of Auto-Trail Owners NZ.

With over 35 attendees from New Plymouth, Tauranga and Whangarei and in between, everyone introduced themselves and their Auto-Trail motorhomes models including Savannah, Delaware, TK RB,TK FB, Dakota, Scout and Apache. It didn't take long for the men to get their heads under the bonnet of one of the vehicles.

With an informal meet and greet in the club rooms, supported by Dan, who welcomed everyone and had a few Auto-Trail Freebies. After happy hour and an enjoyable dinner followed by games of pool a great night was had by all.

Sunday morning was time for the shared morning tea and talk followed whereby it was agreed to get together once or twice or year, with some informal gatherings if and when the occassion arose.  The main aim of the group was decided "have fun, meet new and like-minded people and to share ideas while on the Auto-Trail Trail"
